Principal's Message

Albert Einstein said, "If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my life in music…. I get most joy in life out of music." This is true of many of our students today who are lost in the race of scientists, doctors, and engineers. The burden of covering the syllabus, the competition among schools for better performance, the high expectation of the parents from their children, and globalization has affected school education today. As such learning has become an isolated activity with little connection to life. Both, at home and at school, students often ignore the “valuable present” to focus on an “unknown bright future”. The various coaching centres add on to their burden of woes by grooming them after school hours to be athletes of information.

Nopany High ardently attempts to keep the whole business of teaching-learning child-centric and child friendly. A wide range of co-curricular activities related to Dance, Drama, Music and Recitation have been woven into the daily curriculum. Besides, Karate, Skating, and Yoga classes every week keep the students energetic and enthusiastic. The Educomp Smart Class has also added an interesting dimension to classroom teaching. Our laboratories introduce the students to the fascinating realms of computers, physical and natural sciences. The roof-top play station provides the nursery and kindergarten children a colourful and conducive space of their own. A trisemester newsletter (Drishti) keeps the parents and guardians updated about the activities and achievements of the school. Our Annual School Magazine “Prakash” has emerged as a platform for the creative and communicative faculties of the students.

We are thankful to all our parents, guardians and, well-wishers for their warm-hearted support and cooperation in maintaining the goodwill and reputation of our esteemed institution.

Mr. Gautam Guha,
Nopany High
